Brian Bonar, the CEO of Dalrada Financial Corporation, has recently received a prestigious honor. Bonar was named a Who’s Who Executive of the Year for Cambridge. Only two women and two men receive this distinction every year. The original Who’s Who is a listing of prominent British leaders and scholars, which has been in existence since 1849.
In addition to serving as Chairman of Dalrada, Bonar is Chairman of Trucept, Inc. and Smart-Tek Automated Services. He is an engineer by training, having received his undergraduate degree in mechanical university from Strathclyde University, as well as an MBA and PhD from Staffordshire University.
Mr. Bonar serves on a number of boards for both companies and social causes. Besides serving on the Board of Directors of American Marine LLC and Alliance National Insurance Company, he also on the Board of Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego. He was also previously on the board of The Solvis Group Inc.
According to WhitePages and XRepublic, Brian Bonar’s firm, Dalrada Financial Corporation, is headquartered in San Diego, California. The company is a leader in the human resources field, providing companies with assistance in workers compensation, as well as payroll and safety management.
The company is named after Dalrada, a holy relic that is used as part of the coronation ceremony of the British monarchs. The touchstone had originally been used by the Scottish kings in their own coronation ceremonies, but was stolen by English King Edward I, until it was finally returned in 1996.
As a leader of the financial community, Brian Bonar was already included in the American version of Who’s Who in 2000. Prior to entering sales and finance in the United States, Bonar was employed by the British division of IBM for 17 years. He has been on the Board of Dalrada since 1995 and became CEO in 1999.
