Rocklage works with all kinds of different people in different situations, but a lot of those people she helps are in situations with marriages or other issues related to family counseling. Rocklage has been doing this kind of work to help others since she graduated from the University of Southern California in 1981.
Patti Rocklage is currently licensed to practice psychotherapy in her home state of Massachusetts. Rocklage claims her most valuable skills in life have been obtained through doing a variety of different work as a psychotherapist throughout her years serving the local communities she lives in. She participates in countless outreach activities in her local community as well as gives major gifts to the local MIT school where her and her husband donated in 2016 to help renovate the chemistry laboratories for students to have more up-to-date facilities to learn and grow in.
The two buildings that were upgraded focused on studying nanotechnology and nanochemistry. Patti’s husband Scott is an alumni of MIT’s chemistry department so helping those students achieve what he has is close to his heart.
Rocklage also assists families through the Sudanese Education Fund, which helps families who have moved to Massachusetts find stable jobs and good housing for their families so they can achieve financial independence on their own.
